Where do I start? That was the question running through my head when my dad passed last month.

In one of the most difficult times a person goes through, you have so many questions running through your head. Luckily, my family and I had Emma right there with us.

From the start, Emma explained exactly what was going to happen and made us feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Nothing was too much; she was accommodating in every way through the process and chased up the hospital to get my dad in her care as quickly as possible to look after him.

I cannot thank Emma enough for what she did; she looked after my dad with the respect he deserved and delivered an impeccable service and send-off.

I highly recommend Emma for anyone going through these difficult times; she will look after it all for you.

Emma was amazing and we could not have asked for anyone better to look after our Dad on his final journey, her care and compassion was amazing and her attention to detail exemplary. Emma made one of the hardest times of our lives, that much easier and we are so glad we chose Torbay & District Funeral Service.

Faultless. They were professional, prompt and very helpful. Even to the extent that on the day of the funeral they arrived early to account for road works which would have caused a real issue otherwise. If you need a funeral director, then they are the ones.

We chose Torbay & district because it had amazing reviews, and it was the right decision, from start to finish they were absolutely outstanding, the care and compassion was excellent all the staff were lovely, Emma who we dealt with the most was incredible she truly felt like a friend she is so understanding and compassionate and they took care of everything and kept me in the loop every step of the way, my beloved dad was certainly in the best hands, I can’t recommend this place enough 10/10 from me.

Emma was extremely helpful - we can't fault anything as it was so well organised for us. Live streaming at Drakes would have been nice but we managed with our own phone.
