About Torbay & District Funeral Service
At Torbay & District Funeral Service, we have been helping local families at one of the most difficult times since 1880. The business that became Torbay & District Funeral Service was founded by Mr Henry Ingram at Goldsworth Road.
Laurence Mason founded Torbay & District Funeral Service in 1962 after gaining experience in the Funeral Furnishers department at Williams & Cox, Torquay, and a number of our team have now been with us for over 30 years.
The team at our Torquay funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have our own service venue on-site.
Here at Torbay & District Funeral Service we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.
