About Torbay & District Funeral Service
At Torbay & District Funeral Service, we have been helping local families at one of the most difficult times since 1962.
Laurence Mason founded Torbay & District Funeral Service in 1962 after gaining experience in the Funeral Furnishers department at Williams & Cox, Torquay, and a number of our team have now been with us for over 30 years.
The team at our Torquay funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have our own service venue on-site.
Here at Torbay & District Funeral Service we also offer a prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.

I’m Emma, ever since being at school I wanted to work in the funeral industry.
I started off for many years being a funeral arranger, then later on worked at a crematorium, then got back into funeral arranging once again.
I am now a funeral director which has been my biggest dream.
I promise I will do my best to guide you, support you and give your loved ones the best send-off they deserve.
I love spending time with my family, love being active and enjoy my summer holidays.
