Funeral Director
Sarah started as a funeral operative and bearer, then as a funeral arranger before training to become a funeral director.
She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, this makes her role is both challenging and fulfilling. She ensures every funeral is of the highest standard for the family and each funeral she conducts is carried out with the deepest respect and dignity.
She really enjoy traveling, especially cities around the world exploring the different cultures.
Amanda James
Funeral Arranger and Area Administrator
Amanda has been with Torbay & District Funeral Service since 2015 having previously worked as a Personal Assistant to an Architect.
She says “I enjoy meeting with families and helping them at such a difficult time.”
I have a husband and 14 year old son. She ran the London Marathon in 2014 and enjoyed it so much that next year she will be running London Marathon and raising money for The Childrens Society.
