The tremendous trio from Torbay and District Funeral Services, Sarah Lockton, Amanda James and Sandra Murphy, have been raising more money for charity.
The fundraising fanatics were in charge of selling raffle tickets for the fruit tombola at Babbacombe Fair on 21 June, with Trainee Funeral Director for Maunders Funeral Service in Paignton, Mark Carr, helping to deliver and set up the stall.
Torbay and District Funeral Services donated 20 fruit hampers and the team raised an impressive £261, making the grand total raised at this year’s fair £3600, which will be distributed to local charities by the Babbacombe & St Marychurch Rotary Club.
Sarah said: “It is a lively event which many locals attend and I am so proud that we have raised even more money for local charities.”
The annual event has several stalls including tombola raffles, book and bric a brac stalls, as well as live entertainment, local school choirs, classic cars, a tug of war, and food tents.
