We have dealt directly with the Torbay and District Funeral service on two occasions. They were just so caring and easy to deal with. The first was just over 2 years ago and in the last few months, our second. The main point with any funeral service is that at a time when all the family want to do is mourn, that unfortunately someone need to organise the funeral and having a company that you know you can trust with your loved one is just so very important and takes some weight off your shoulders. The costings were also very clear and easy to follow through with nothing hidden or last minute extras that you hear off with some services. Emma was also very easy to deal with and communications prompt and clear, which is equally so important. All the staff were very professional and offered IOHO a very good service at a very reasonable costing. I hope that it is many year before we need to use their services again, but when that time comes, we will again be in trusting in The Torbay and District Funeral Service.

Reverent, sympathetic and altogether a wonderful group. The funeral was calm and celebratory, focussing on the happiness and joys of mum Monica's life, exactly as we and mum wanted it to be. It gave us all a sense of peaceful closure on a very sad occasion,

Emma is a gentle, empathetic lady who will put you at your ease at a difficult time, she is warm and welcoming with a smile, and knows how people are having to cope with the sudden loss of a loved one, Torbay & District Funerals are professional and understanding, the service they provided for my late Mother was beautiful and caring, thanking you always.

Having spent January in England to help mum settle into a home, I was unable to return, when she passed away in March. I would like to thank Emma for so smoothly organising mum’s unattended funeral as per her wishes; with so much care, respect and compassion. Emma responded to my emails very quickly and was so helpful with her suggestions re flowers and urns etc. I found Emma to be so kind and importantly she cared not just for mum but for mum’s family.
